This beautiful fuzzy girl is Oreo, a black and white/Tuxedo kitten with beautiful spots on her face! A very original look! Her hair is a bit fuzzy and long, so she could be medium-haired or long-haired as an adult. But she won't be short-haired. We're taking bets on what color her eyes will turn - it's either green or yellow, maybe an in-between chartreuse. Oreo is a tiny girl at only 12 weeks old (9/25). Oreo is a playful girl! She can be a little shy around bigger cats, but she enjoys playing with the other kittens. Oreo needs a home without dogs. Since she is so tiny, we'd like to find her a home with children a little older than maybe age 5 so she can be handled without any risks. Stop into our cat adoption center to meet Oreo!

Negative for FIV and FeLK and current on first set of kitten vaccinations. The final set (consisting of Rabies and Feline Leukemia boosters) is due three weeks from the date of the previous set.
Since Oreo is too young to be spayed, an additional $100 refundable spay/neuter deposit is required at time of adoption to reinforce state law for all shelter animals to be fixed before or after adoption - out-of-state adopters are not an exception to the law. The spay/neuter deposit is refunded later upon delivery of proof (a certificate or vet records) that the kitten has been fixed. Pediatric spaying/neutering is an option to discuss with your vet around 4 months of age.
Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read the descriptions thoroughly and note the specific personalities or special criteria we recommend (some are not good around kids, other cats, dogs, etc.). We cannot accept applications from minors (19 and under, in the state of Alabama). Read up on our adoption process .
