Pepper and his litter mate Peanut are about one and a half to two years old and are terrier mixes. Pepper is wire haired, black and white and Peanut is brown/rust and white smooth coated. They are both very small, weighing about 12 pounds each. They were found out in the country where more than likely they had been dumped. They are very friendly and sweet. Due to their size, they need to be inside dogs and if there are children in the family, they will need to be 10 and older. We would like to adopt them out together cause they do get upset when separated. Poor Pepper tested positive for heartworms and just started his treatment in early July. He will need to have limited activity and stay inside pretty much all the time during the two months of his heartworm treatment. They are paper trained. Both dogs are up to date on their vet care. Peanut has been neutered and Pepper will be (HSWA will provide this) following his completed heartworm treatment. These darling dogs are very loving and will make wonderful companions for a very lucky family.
