The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at xxxx Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer and need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.

This sweet girl is Lydia, a very beautiful gray and white tabby girl with the cutest heart-shaped pink nose! She also has gorgeous copper eyes that pop! Beautiful! Lydia is only a few years old, maximum 5 years of age. She seems to do well with other gentle, passive adult cats. She absolutely adores receiving attention from people! Lydia would love to curl up in someone's lap or sit beside them every day! She's hoping she'll find a new family who can give her lots of attention and a cushy bed to nap in every day! Please stop in at our cat adoption center to meet Lydia!

Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read the descriptions thoroughly and note the specific personalities or special criteria we recommend (some are not good around kids, other cats, dogs, etc.). We cannot accept applications from minors or legal dependents. Read up on our adoption process .
